Garrett - this is a great beginning. Now you need change it so it is more like your shoe. The tracks going across the straight ones could reflect the shoe - using the same colours. The shoes should be smaller and on the page, paying attention to the negative space. Also the text does not work on top of the shoes - the italic nature is good but it needs to separated from the image - take a look at other printed ads and see how the text looks. great work. even add some of the black and white lines into the design angela
