Appealing to the wholesaler

The advertising campaign I have selected with the slogan "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" appeals to the wholesaler ,because by purchasing the shoes quickly will give the wholesaler advantage over their competing wholesalers by being able to sell the product first ,thus making them the quick brown fox that jumped over the lazy wholesaler. The idea wholesalers puma should be looking for are stores such as but not limited to , foot locker , sport chalet, big 5, puma outfitters,etc...

Company

The term quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog ,appeals to puma because their trademark is a puma jumping into the air , although the puma is not a quick brown fox they are similar in athletic ability and customer appeal , both showing the competitive edge that the company has been trying to display through its trademark "puma" and the competitive edge the customer assumes the fox has by jumping over the lazy dog . Also the term "quick" in the slogan appeals to the runners market attempting to get a competitive edge.

Target Market

My target market is men who run track in the age group of 14 -30 range. Men who are so commited to running that they are willing to spend $140 dollars on apair of shoes and that fully believe that this shoe will improve their performance. The tern quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog , is used to appeal to the athletes in the target market ,by convincing them that they can be quick brown fox and have a "leg up," on the competition .

A stitch in time saves nine.

Meaning:

You use this proverb to say that it is better to spend a little time to deal with problems or act right now than wait. If you wait until late, things will get worse, and it will take much longer to deal with them.

It is often shortened to "A stitch in time." This proverb expresses a similar idea to that of An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

idioms for "Give them and inch and theyll take a mile

he epitome of the syndrome is Gollum of the “Lord of the Rings.” He started out as a fairly normal being and was transformed into a hideous monster by his obsession or greed for the ring that could not be quenched. Gollum said things like “We must have the Preciouss !!!” Remember the saying she became so green with jealousy that she became a “green-eyed monster.”

There are many phrases that relate to people with this syndrome that can range from 1 to 25 on a scale of 1 to 10.

One of the original moochers was Wimpy in the cartoon, Pop Eye, who frequently said “I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.”

They usually take advantage of others generosity, kindness, and call you their “friend” when all they want to do is USE you and ABUSE you,and NEVER LET YOU GO !!!

Someone who survives off another’s income. Someone who believes that they are owed something for nothing. One who even if they have their own money, food, clothes, etc. will still use someone else's first. Even if that someone else is more poor.

They may appear to be a pauper who lives by begging. If they have possessions, then complain that they are very tight on cash, and need to be paid for anything that they do for the dupe. A

Information about pollution from drilling ,not detaining to spliis

Oil Rigs: A Risk California’s Coasts Can’t Afford

We've all seen what a spill can do to an entire region's ecosystem, but the drilling business is just messy all around.

Offshore drilling activities, which produce a steady stream of pollution, destroy kelp beds, coral gardens and coastal wetlands. A single offshore rig can drill between 50 and 100 wells, each dumping 25,000 pounds of toxic metals such as lead, chromium and mercury, and potent carcinogens like toluene, benzene and xylene, into the ocean. This pollution from drilling would cause health and reproductive problems for fish and other marine life.

California has also seen the effects of a spill - The infamous oil spill of 1969 spilled 100,000 barrels of oil off the Santa Barbara coast from one of Unocal's offshore platforms. Within days, the spill contaminated 800 square miles of water surface, stretching to the Mexican border. Millions of birds died, and fish stocks were decimated.

Activists Arrested

On May 24, seven Greenpeace activists were arrested for rappelling down the side of a Shell Oil Co.drilling support ship docked in Port Fourchon, La.—an area affected by the oil spill that began in theGulf of Mexico last month—and smearing anti-drilling slogans in crude oil, according to the New York Times. The slogans, which read “Arctic Next?” and “Salazar: Ban Arctic Drilling,” were intended to discourage U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar from allowing Shell to follow through with its plans to begin drilling in the Arctic Beaufort and Chukchi seas as early as this summer.

The activists were released the following morning on bail, and were charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and a “critical infrastructure.” Phil Radford, Greenpeace’s executive director, released a statement calling it “outrageous” that peaceful protestors would be harshly prosecuted when BP oil executives have yet to face charges.

The New Orleans Joint Terrorism Task Force is also “looking into the matter,” and the activists could face terrorism charges, said Sgt. Lesley Hill Peters of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Art and advertising week duece

Alright so i decided to change my topic from "The media over exagerated the bp oil spill," to "Southern California and safety with offshore drilling." I have been researching my old topic ,so now i am starting from scratch on a more interestiing topic ,that seems easyier to research, and hits closer to home.I also decided that i may do a video in place of the poster, mainly for the fact that its one less piece of paper that will end up in the garbage. Also i think i may do my advertisment targeting people similar to a move or visit califronia type campaign.

Target audience- After discussing with my group in class i decided ,the target group will be residents out of the state of california that would be considering moving to california. Also i will be targeting people who already live in california that tend to lean towards keeping everything "green."

GOOD ADVERTISMENT

I personally really like this advertisement, because of how epic the cliff drop is that dan brisse is doing. In my opinion especially in sports the key too advertising is get the best person to endorse your products and make the reader think its cool. This advertisement is a perfect example of just that also the way the advertisement is worded is very original calling dan a sacrifice makes the whole poster seem that much more epic. Also you can clearly read the companies logo across the bottom of the board which proves undoubtedly that he is indeed riding a "capita" snowboard .Also the companies slogan "We devour everything,"makes the company seem like the most dominate snowboard company with the best team riders.
